For our finite resources, we found out which ones were the most efficient to decide how many turns each should last.
We did research on what natural disasters are caused by which resources.

Basic Information

The four of these links served the same purpose for the project, as each one was used to figure out the color, and therefore resource, that each state was going to hold. While we didn’t keep this structure exactly, as several states had shared the same resources on these lists, and we needed to create a sort of balance on how many resources we had in each place on the map, we did our best to try and stay as accurate as possible to how things would be found in real life. This was done as we felt it made more sense to try and keep some level of the game grounded, as our major conflict in the game is a real world issue. In order to do so, we felt that research was needed to at least show that we were serious about the matter.
